Manufactured in South Korea, the brand-new Medi-Pro Touch 2024 (CMDV5) model features new additions, such as a light at the end of the handle and a touchscreen!

This vacuum nail drill is equipped with an HMD04 brushless motor, which allows it to reach speeds of up to 40,000 rpm.

This device is not suitable for“wet pedicures”using a keratolytic agent or pedicures where your feet are submerged in water! Moisture will get trapped inside the tip and damage it! We also do not recommend using it for manicures! It is intended only for dry pedicure techniques!

Choosing the Right Speed: Increase the rotation speed until you feel a slight vibration. When a slight vibration begins to occur, it means you have exceeded the speed limit; reduce the speed slightly and remember this speed so you can work at it.

Built-in vacuum cleaner: Should you expect this device to collect 100% of the dust? Yes and no. It depends on the type of dust. The purpose of this device is to capture the most hazardous, finest, and airborne dust particles. If this fine dust gets into the air, it can settle on all surfaces, including furniture and office equipment. It will also settle on everyone in the office—on their clothing, hair, and skin. The worst part is that it can be inhaled, meaning it can easily end up in the lungs of anyone nearby. Furthermore, these particles can carry dangerous bacteria 🦠 and microbes 😷, so it’s clear how important it is to collect these harmful dust particles. We can assure you that this device handles this task 100%. However, when a manicurist removes an old coating—such as acrylic or gel—or trims the cuticles, this vacuum won’t be able to collect all of that larger dust. These completely harmless dust particles are larger, and the drill propels them like a bullet, so it’s impossible to collect all of this dust! The device will catch some of it, but realistically, you have to understand that some of this large dust will simply fall onto the floor. Some people lay damp paper towels on the floor to catch it, while others place a bowl of water under the client’s feet and gently remove what the built-in vacuum cleaner couldn’t catch after the pedicure.

Can Podo discs be used with this device? If the disc diameter is 15 mm or more, it will block access to the vacuum cleaner, significantly reducing suction power. Therefore, we do not recommend using any cutters or discs with a working diameter greater than 15 mm. The ideal option is to use any disc or cutter with a working diameter of no more than 10 mm. We also recommend using a disc or cutter with a longer shank—up to 40 mm—rather than the standard 30 mm.

USE AND MAINTENANCE:
